The Recovery Considerations course is intended for health care practitioners as well as strength and conditioning professionals who are looking to better understand overall concepts of recovery during different phases of the Bridging the Gap from Rehab to Performance (BTG) model.

In this course you will learn about different aspects of recovery and specific tools and ideas for several phases of the BTG process. Specific ideas to foster recovery are discussed for the pain and inflammatory phases of healing, for the performance side of the model as well as how recovery can be used to modulate the autonomic nervous system.

Sue Falsone PT, MS, SCS, ATC, CSCS, COMT, RYT®

Born in Buffalo, NY, Sue received a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from Daemen College in Amherst, New York. She continued her education by earning a master’s degree in human movement science, with a concentration in sports medicine, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Sue is the current owner of Structure & Function Education, has authored a book called “Bridge the Gap from Rehab to Performance” about what it takes to get athletes back into training after an injury, and consults with a variety of organizations in the NBA, MLB, NHL and NFL.

In addition to her work with Structure & Function Education, she has a concierge practice where she continues to work one on one with athletes. Her philosophy includes looking at the athlete as a whole person, working with the entire body to create an optimal environment for healing and performance training. Sue teaches our Foundations, Advanced and Dissection courses.
