About Sue Falsone and Dry Needling

In the world of dry needling, an experienced licensed physiotherapist uses his skill with acupuncture needles to enter the epidermis and stimulate the professional athlete’s muscles. At SFDN, founder and CEO Sue Falsone founded a practical dry needling approach called SFDN. In the course of her years in the field, Sue acquired a great amount of experience which she then used to perfect her dry needling approach. As a true leader in her area, Sue was Head Athletic Trainer for the Los Angeles Dodgers organization, which made her the first woman in the role of Head Athletic Coach in the four most important sports in the US. The American Men’s National Soccer team also perceived her skills and made her Head Athletic Trainer.

Objectives & Curriculum of the Class

The purpose of the course is:

  • to understand proper needle usage practices, and prevent risk of exposure to diseases transferred by blood;
  • to understand the surface anatomy of the subject in regards to his well-being when handling needles;
  • to successfully employ intramuscular stimulation when treating different orthopedic and sports-related conditions; as well as excel when using vacuum therapy techniques.
  • to familiarize with the practitioner the contraindications and precautions when using the aforementioned technique;
  • to be able to use dry needling techniques in addressing common orthopedic and sports-related ailments;

When the course is finished, the participants will be able to combine their new knowledge to treat different conditions and issues in sports and ortho medicine.

Class Info
