Athletic Training

Structure & Function Education (BOC AP #P10069) is approved by the Board of Certification, Inc. to provide continuing education to Athletic Trainers. This program is eligible for a maximum of 27 Category A CEUs. ATs should claim only those hours actually spent in the educational program.

Physical Therapy

  • Colorado: APTA Colorado: 27 CEUs. Approval: CEUL093262; valid until 7/24/2023
  • Florida: Florida Physical Therapy Association: 27 CEUs. Approval #CE23-1036216; valid 1/1/2023-12/31/2023
  • Idaho: Based on the information from the IDAPA 24 – Division of Occupation and Professional Licenses this course will qualify for CEUs for dry needling because it is 27 hours, taught by a qualified instructor, and includes all the necessary safety training and practical skills verification. Please let us know what course dates you are looking at, and we can file the application on your behalf.
  • Iowa: Per the information on the Iowa Physical Therapy website, the course would be approved as an organized educational activity.  (Link to Additional Info)
  • Kentucky: APTA Kentucky: 27 Category 1 CEUs. Approval #162-APTAKY-2022; valid 6/24/2022-6/25/2024
  • Louisiana: Louisiana Physical Therapy Board; 27 25 CE Hours. Valid 1/1/2023-12/31/2023
  • Maryland: Maryland State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners: 2.5 CEUs. Approval #2021-676; Valid until 6/30/2025
  • Massachusetts: APTA of Massachusetts: 27 CE Hours. Valid 1/1/23 to 12/31/23. Approval #CEUL103819
  • Michigan:  APTA Michigan; 27 Credits; Approval #: CEULI 12888. Valid 05/1/2023-05/01/2024
  • Minnesota: SFDN1 is pre-approved due to our other state PT board approvals, per state regulations
  • Missouri: does not pre-approve CE courses.  SFDN1 meets the requirement as an organized program of learning, with specified goals and objectives; and is conducted by individual(s) who have education, training and/or experience to be considered qualified and/or an expert on the subject matter being presented (Link to Practice Act
  • Nebraska: SFDN1 qualifies as a “Formal Education Course” according to the Continuing Competency Requirements found here.
  • Nevada: Nevada Physical Therapy Board; 15 CE Hours for Renewal; Valid 4/24/2023 – 7/31/2024
  • New Jersey: The NJ State Board of Physical Therapy has approved a modified version of this course to meet their dry needling education requirements. NJ licensed PTs must take the New Jersey offering of this course as part of a three course series to meet the licensing requirement.
