About: Joanne has been a Certified Athletic Trainer since 2004 and has worked with a variety of elite-level athletes from Olympic level to high school. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Medicine from the Whitworth University in Spokane, WA and her Master’s Degree in Kinesiology from San Jose State University in 2007. Following graduate school, Joanne worked for a variety of athletics programs, including the USA National Taekwondo team, Stanford Rugby, University of California Santa Cruz, and Foothill College. Most recently, Joanne is the Head Athletic Trainer at a secondary school in Oakland, CA.
