Dry Needling and Sue Falsone

Curriculum
The course wants to achieve the following:
- to master proper acupuncture needle handling practices, and prevent risk of exposure to diseases transferred by blood;
- to understand the anatomy of the subject in regards to his safety when using acupuncture needles;
- to successfully utilize intramuscular stimulation when treating different orthopedic and sports-related problems; as well as become proficient in the use of vacuum therapy techniques.
- to familiarize with the clinician the contraindications and precautions when using the aforementioned technique;
- to be able to use dry needling techniques in addressing prevalent sports-related ailments;
Upon completion of the course, the students will be able to use their new skills in order to cure varying pathologies in ortho and sports medicine.

The courses cost $1295, and for every ten people someone signs up, they (their department or facility) get free access for 1 individual. It is advisable that course participants take certain items with them to the seminar: a TENS unit, alligator clamps, and a human anatomy book. Dry needles will be made available to all participants by the seminar staff.
