About: Meredith is from Kalamazoo, MI and recently moved to Phoenix, AZ to be near family. Meredith attended Grand Valley State University graduating in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and in 2013 from Grand Valley State University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society recognizing individuals with outstanding GPA in a college graduate program.
Prior to joining the team, Meredith worked at a sports medicine clinic in Michigan. At this clinic she had the opportunity of learning advanced skills in manual therapy and mechanical diagnosis and treatment for various spinal conditions. She also specializes in biomechanical analysis for the walking/running athlete. She has a passion of working with athletes and orthopedic conditions across the lifespan. In 2016 Meredith became a fellow of Applied Functional Science through the Gray Institute, which focuses on function based therapy to return patients back to their optimal level. She also has taken courses to diagnosis and treat spinal injuries through the McKenzie Institue and is now dry needling certified.
Meredith is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Arizona Physical Therapy Association and Sports Physical Therapy Section. She is also an avid distance runner and continues to play recreational softball, volleyball and soccer. She and her husband Bruce have two young boys who keep them plenty busy!
