About: Dr. Karen E. Wood has been practicing physical therapy in the state of Texas for 35 years. She opened a private outpatient clinic in 1980 after being a director of physical therapy as well as a clinical coordinator. Dr. Wood’s goal has been to provide quality therapy with emphasis on a comfortable non antiseptic environment. Each patient is treated as a person and not a diagnosis. She thinks outside of the box yet adheres strictly to the Hippocratic Oath including ” First do no harm”. Outside of work Dr. Wood is an avid snowshoer, distance bicycle riding, ballroom dancing and tennis player. She is the proud mother of four and grandmother of five.
