The goal is for the clinician will learn a specific and intentional approach to joint manipulation developing advanced psychomotor skills needed to deliver manipulation safely and effectively. The outcome for the patient is to decrease pain, improve the quality and quantity of joint movement, and create a lasting change in the patient’s body structure.

Course Details

Healthcare professionals and athletic trainers can use the techniques presented to help patients move and feel better after losing optimal function from an injury or limiting condition. Emphasis on learning skills for safe and effective joint manipulation and mobilization, and associated soft tissue skills to support the affected region. Case studies will be discussed at the end of each lab.
