About: Fred Sampang’s interest in physical therapy comes from a lifetime of athletics and being surrounded by injuries. From high school football, to college rugby, and now Crossfit, Fred is always looking for the next high-intensity sport to fulfill his competitive edge.
Fred graduated from University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology (2013) and Doctorate of Physical Therapy (2016). Fred then completed an orthopedic residency (2017) and fellowship in manual therapy (2018) in Houston, TX. He is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist.
Since starting his own practice, Fred has specialized in treating movement-based injuries and dysfunctions in the athletic population. He frequently works with Crossfitters, weightlifters, and high level athletes.
Outside the clinic, Fred values his family time as he can be found exploring new parks, sporting venues, and restaurants with his beautiful wife and daughter in the wonderful city of Chicago.
