About: A native of Bedford, Texas, Kerri Kalina joined the University of Texas at Dallas’ Athletic Training staff in the fall of 2015. Her primary sports are volleyball and baseball. Prior to UT Dallas, Kerri served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Lamar University for the volleyball program and men’s and women’s tennis programs. She received her Masters of Science in Kinesiology at Lamar University in 2015. Kerri graduated from East Texas Baptist University in 2013 with her Bachelors of Science degree in Athletic Training, where she also was a four-year letterman for the Lady Tigers volleyball program.
Kalina has been a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association since 2012 and earned both her Texas licensure and national board certification in 2013. She also received her ICTA cupping therapy certification in 2016, and now, her Dry Needling certification from Structure and Function in 2018.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy watching and quoting movies, participating in anything competitive or athletic, and traveling to new places.”
