About: Kevin is a physical therapist and strength and conditioning coach who specializes in treating orthopedic and sports injuries along with injury prevention. He is focused on the body as a whole and utilizes a comprehensive approach to treat patients. The passion for physical therapy started in high school as he played sports and began taking sports medicine classes. After high school, he served a two year mission for his church in Chile. When he returned home from his mission, he attended and graduated from Arizona State University. After graduating, Kevin enlisted in the United States Army as a combat medic. Kevin served as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division and practiced emergency medicine and physical therapy. Kevin then attended physical therapy school after leaving the military and graduated from the University of St. Augustine in California. In 2016, Kevin worked with the Los Angeles Dodgers during their MLB season and learned many skills and techniques for working with high level athletes. He continues to seek out opportunities to improve himself as a physical therapist and strength and conditioning coach by attending courses and conferences. Kevin has completed advanced training in Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) techniques, myofascial release techniques, trigger point release, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTYM), cupping, dry needling, functional movement patterns, and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). He has experience working with athletes of all ages and sport and all levels including little league, high school, college, and the professional level. When Kevin is not working he enjoys spending time with his wife and 4 kids going camping, shooting, riding bikes, and enjoying Arizona.
