Mike Ploski is a 1988 graduate of the University of Indianapolis Krannert School of Physical Therapy. Prior to completing his degree in physical therapy, he graduated from Temple University with a Masters of Education in Exercise Physiology. He received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Wabash College. Mike is recognized by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists as a certified specialist in orthopaedic physical therapy. He is also a certified and licensed athletic trainer.
Mike traveled with the PGA Tour for 6 years as part of their onsite medical staff, and worked coordinating physical therapy and chiropractic care on the Tour for another 5. He also traveled with the CART racing league for 1 season. Prior to joining Body One, he was a clinic director for a national physical therapy corporation for 12 years.
Mike is currently treating patients at the North Meridian location. He relies heavily on manual therapy techniques, including Dry Needling. He is certified in Graston Technique, a form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization. He also teaches Graston Technique to other health care professionals around the world. With his 27 years of clinical experience, Mike specializes in golf-related injuries, as well as focusing on soft-tissue dysfunction associated with orthopaedic injuries.
