Robert Barksdale, PT, DScPT, FAAOMT, ATC, CSCS

Robert (Bob), received his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy in 1993 from Northeastern University.
He went on to receive his Master of Science in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from California
University in Pennsylvania in 2006 and in 2016, his Doctorate of Science in Physical Therapy from
Andrews University. In 2018, he completed the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy
Fellowship program and was awarded Fellowship from the AAOMT.

In addition to over 30 years of clinical practice as a Physical Therapist, Bob also became certified by
the National Athletic Training Association’s BOC in 1997 and has been practicing as an Athletic Trainer
at the high school, college and professional level. An avid life long learner, Robert has also receive
several certifications including:

Currently, Bob practices at Marathon Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine in Norwood, Massachusetts.
In addition to clinical practice, Bob has also been a visiting lecturer at Northeastern University, Lasell
College and Bridgewater State College. Working within the North American Institute of Orthopedic
Manual Therapy system, he has been a lab assistant for both their core courses and advanced clinical
and specialty courses.
