Steven Ramos, PT, DPT, CSCS

Steven is a former Division I wrestler and a highly skilled physical therapist based in Phoenix, Arizona. With over a decade of experience as a personal trainer and strength coach, he specializes in optimizing human performance, injury prevention, and rehabilitation for athletes at all levels.

He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Northern Arizona University and holds certifications in dry needling, strength and conditioning (CSCS), and yoga instruction. His expertise in movement science, recovery strategies, and sports performance has led him to work with elite athletes across the NFL, NBA, MLB, and UFC.

Originally from New York, Steven combines his background in competitive wrestling with evidence-based rehabilitation techniques, integrating dry needling, BFR, cupping, and movement-based therapy to help athletes recover faster and perform at their peak.

He believes that too many people focus solely on increasing strength, power, and speed or, conversely, only on mobility—when, in reality, you don’t want one without the other. True athletic performance requires both strength and mobility working in harmony, and this principle guides his approach to treatment and training.

Steven is continually expanding his expertise and aspires to earn his Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) certification to further refine his ability to bridge the gap between rehab and high performance.

When he’s not in the clinic or gym, he’s constantly refining his craft, exploring new methods to help athletes and active individuals move, feel, and perform better.
