About: Dr. Thomas Suh, PT, DPT, LAT, ATC received his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2017 from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training (B.S.) in 2015 from The University of Texas at Austin. He is a board-certified athletic trainer (ATC) and licensed athletic trainer (LAT) in the state of Texas.
Throughout his time at The University of Texas at Austin he worked as a student athletic trainer for the Texas Football, Women’s Soccer, Softball, Men’s Track/Field, and Women’s Swimming/Diving teams. He is currently involved in PRN contract work for the Greater Austin area with Strong Medicine AthletiCare and Go4Ellis.
He is currently pursuing the Structure and Function Dry Needling practitioner certification (SFDN) and Certification in Sports and Orthopedic Manual Therapy (CSOMT) through the Institute for Athlete Regeneration (IAR) and will complete this in 2021.
Dr. Suh serves on the St. David’s Foundation Committee which is responsible for selecting students who are awarded the Neal Kocurek scholarship. He is also a mentor for the selected scholars who are pursing a profession in healthcare. This is something that is very dear to his heart being a former St. David’s Neal Kocurek recipient. The need to give back to an organization that gave so much to him is paramount.
