As a therapist…

You may be working with post-surgical patients where scars are an issue, either painful or irregular in appearance, and bother the patient.  Being able to facilitate the healing of scars is a skill all clinicians struggle with. How do we keep it mobile? Can you help it heal optimally?  Being able to help your patient manage scar healing and allowing their scars to have a more uniform appearance is vital for their psychological interaction with their scar.

Understanding how to utilize dry needling to help manipulate the healing process of a scar can significantly impact the overall well-being of your client. Using needling, you can address the healing trajectory of a scar and make it more uniform and mobile with less pain. It will truly become a game-changer.
