Isopropyl Alcohol at 70% strength is highly recommended and useful for cleaning germs from minor scrapes and wounds. Isopropyl Alcohol is an antiseptic and can also be used as a cleaning solvent on areas prone to germs, mold or fungus. It can be dangerous if swallowed and is not for internal use.
