Question from past participant! Have a patient that has torn Achilles twice. Reattached with anchors the second time and the tissue is like leather. Have a hard time with getting the needles to penetrate very deep. Any recommendations on treatment protocol??
My reply: Stick w half inch needles until that tissue loosens up. And hit posterior chain… musculotendinous junction, medial and lateral gastroc head. Hamstring insertions and ischial tuberosity. Also between 1st/2nd metatarsal and plantar fascia.
