Hello everyone. I am working on a policy to implement dry needling for the hospital I work for. Can anyone provide insight when it is appropriate to dry needle after a surgery? I have seen some sources state waiting 6 weeks (absolute contraindication). I understand not needling the surgical joint, however I frequently see post-op knee patients by week 1 or 2 and see a a great opportunity to target the quads (via Estim with needles). Thank you.
