Structure and Function Education Dry Needling (SFDN)
Dry Needling to Help Enhance Patient Care.
Our Dry Needling Program (SFDN) offers a diagnosis-focused approach through foundational and advanced dry needling courses. Classes are taught throughout the country to healthcare and therapeutic pain management professionals from a variety of disciplines to learn effective strategies to manage commonly encountered pathologies in orthopedic and sport rehabilitation, including treatment for the hip flexor, shoulder impingement, hyperextension, and more.
Developed by Sue Falsone PT, MS, SCS, ATC, CSCS, COMT, RYT. Current science and research will be presented, along with a vast amount of clinical experience and pearls Sue has gained from holding positions such as Head Athletic Trainer of the LA Dodgers and Head Athletic Trainer of the US Men’s National Soccer Team, allowing immediate application into the clinicians’ professional practice. Classes are taught throughout the country and registration to these courses is limited.
The dry needling courses are split into two types of courses. Foundation and Advanced courses. Practitioners trained by Structure & Function Education can become certified by SFDN certification program showing that they have obtained knowledge and skills above and beyond the minimum requirements found in most state practice acts. For a full overview of the certification process please see this article.
Fascial Manipulation® Method by Stecco
Holistic Treatment Through Fascial Manipulation®
Structure & Function Education’s Fascial Manipulation® by Stecco (FM) course program consists of two levels of intensive hands-on courses. Each course day gives the practitioner a combination of theoretical lectures, demonstrations, and practice. Developed by Luigi Stecco PT, in collaboration with his children Carla Stecco and Antonio Stecco (both MDs, PhDs), over the last 40 years, the course focuses on fascia and in particular the deep muscular fascia. Fascial Manipulation® considers the myofascial system as a three-dimensional continuum.

We give you the option to repeat a lecture for maximum effect.
Each course is for all skill levels. So whether you are an advanced practitioner, or a recent graduate, there will be clinical pearls and knowledge for everyone. Every course is a series of video lectures, readings and examinations to maximize your learning experience. There is a discussion board for each module, where you can interact with your colleagues and find how others are integrating the concepts into their daily practice. Many of the courses have Continuing Education Credits, so if earning CEU’s is a main goal for you, be sure to check individual courses for what has been approved for each profession. We are constantly working on updating these CEU’s, so be sure to check back often as we get more and more approvals.
